WYSI Junior Team Tennis
WYSI Junior Team Tennis June 5 – July 9, 2017 It’s more fun when you play on a team!
WYSI Tennis is aimed at teaching the fundamentals of tennis in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. There is no experience necessary to play, only a willingness to learn, listen, and have fun! Registration for tennis is open April 1 – May 15 of the current season. Junior Team Tennis at Westfield includes both a practice and match day each week. Register for either: • 9-11 year old • 12-15 year old
• Teams will be approximately 6 players per team to allow more play time • Monday night practice will be run by a combination of instructors and coaches so players will build on basics of tennis – forehand, backhand, volleys, service, and scoring basics • The rec division is great for beginners, returning and intermediate level players • All players should receive equal playing time • This division will end with a round-robin tournament with fun prizes and snacks on the last match date $100 per player – for more details or to register, visit www.wysi.net
