Urban Fishing The Youth Fishing Program is open to youth in 1st to 6th grades. This program is a joint venture between Salem Recreation and the Division of Wildlife Resource. The program focuses on educating youth about fishing and aquatic resources. The first class will be held at the Veterans Memorial Ballpark (downtown). All other classes will be held at Salem Pond. First session will be April 2nd. Registration for this program will be $15.00 if paid before the early deadline. Each participant should provide their own pole. This is a 6 week program. All participants will receive a Salem Fishing Club t-shirt.
