Dear Parent/carer, Re: Year 11 Easter Revision 2017 Easter Revision Classes for Year 11 Students As part of our programme for Year 11 students, we are, once again, organising special revision sessions during the Easter holidays. The focus of these sessions will be to support students and to help them to achieve the best possible grade in the forthcoming examinations. We feel that this is an ideal opportunity for many of our students to gain more practice in examination technique, embed knowledge and benefit from extra support to build confidence. Please see the table on the following side for subject session day/dates, times and rooms. These sessions support the many revision opportunities and targeted intervention sessions that we are already running during term time. All students will benefit from attending these sessions, although they are free to choose the ones that will be of most benefit to them. Please make every effort to ensure your child attends their allocated revision sessions.
Please be aware of the following arrangements:
Your child must be on time to the sessions. Your son or daughter needs to bring a drink and a snack please. Or a packed lunch. S/he should also bring any necessary equipment, question papers, and books – as directed by the subject teacher.
The programme is also on the school website. N.B Students accessing revision on Thursday 20th April must enter the school via the student entrance and be collected by their member of staff. Students can only access toilets on the first floor and must leave the building via the same entrance/exit. The atrium will be out of bounds throughout the day.
