Year 2 Homework Autumn Term (2nd half) WOW! Your homework from our Beachcombers topic was FANTASTIC! A massive thank you to all the grown ups who helped you create such masterpieces! Don’t forget to have a look on our page on the website to see all the photographs. Our topic this term is called ‘Towers, Tunnels and Turrets’. We will be beginning this interesting topic with our trip to Hardwick Hall, then following on with lots of fun activities. As our homework last half term was so successful, the homework this term is, again, for your child to create something about our topic. This might be:
A model of a building with a tower, such as a castle. You could use Lego, or have a go creating a masterpiece with boxes and paint! A story or a poem about a character trapped in a tower...think of Rapunzel and other fairy stories Finding out about a famous tunnel or tower and writing a factsheet
…or anything else you can think of! We would like the homework in on 28th November. We hope you have fun working with your child to create something for them to share with the class! As we had some large projects last time, please only send projects in on the 28th (not before), as we are struggling for space to keep them all safe! We will take photographs and put them on the website again.
