All students will revise the formation of the past, present and future tenses. Term 2 Health

-To discuss different types of diet. - To discuss well-being and what can prevent it -To express their opinion on tobacco, drugs and alcohol. -To use verbs that are followed by an infinitive.

- To create an argument explaining the consequences of tobacco, alcohol and drugs -Different meanings of the verb Tener when used in certain expressions (Tener miedo, tener prisa, tener suerte, tener exito, tner sed…)

All students will learn: Home and Local Area

-To describe their home, neighbourhood and region. -To use quantifiers and modifiers to express personal attitudes and emphasize responses. -To use relative pronouns

Preparation for 2nd Speaking Assessment

-To use common patterns to transform nouns into adjectives and verbs into nouns (RuidoRuidoso/Habitar-Habitacion)

General Revision. Listening and Reading practise

-Learn vocabulary about environmental issues. -To express their opinion about pollution -To make suggestions on how to be environmentally friendly -Learn verbs used to express obligation (haber de, hay que, tener que, deber) -Learn the main uses of the prepositions por and para. All students will practice listening and reading activities in preparation for their exam. All students will practice: -Using the context to work out the meaning of unknown words

-Learn complete phrases about 2nd Speaking key issues rather than Controlled separate words to improve Assessment fluency. -Learn to deal with more complex vocabulary on environmental issues.

To practise the use of cognates, the context, and listening out for distractors and positive and negatives with Higher level questions from past papers.

GCSE PAPERS LISTENING (F/H) READING (F/H)

-Using cognates to work out the meaning. -Relating words with other words previously learnt (Calor-CalienteCalentamiento-Calefaccion) -Listening out for distractors (No, nunca, casi nunca, no hay, no es….) -Listening out for positive and negative phrases ( Me gusta, me molesta, me fastidia…) Term 6
