Yellow class
Numeracy In numeracy, all of the children have been practising to count and have worked on identifying the odd one out from a group of objects. Some pupils have explored different shapes and their properties as well as comparing objects using the language ‘small, medium and large’. Literacy In literacy, we have looked at Julia Donaldson books and engaged in sensory stories whilst exploring props. We have taken part in activities to develop our fine motor skills.
Art Yellow class have enjoyed Art this term , making our own collages, decorating with different mediums and painting.
PSHE/PSD We have take part in peer massage sessions in yellow class, and the children have enjoyed massaging each other. Some children have engaged in sensory activities exploring different lighting effects.
Science We have looked at life processes in science and have investigated how plants grow. We planted seeds and looked after them by watering them and keeping them in the sunlight.
Geography We explored the outside environment and experienced what winter felt and looked like.
