Youth Ambassador Program
The International Rescue Committee invites you to join our
Youth Ambassador Program Learn about refugee populations in the U.S. and abroad with the IRC Youth Ambassador Program! High school students from across San Diego County will come together for a two week intensive program this summer to learn about humanitarian crises and how they affect lives around the world.
Deadline to apply: May 15, 2016 Program cost: $150 Need-based scholarships are available
The program features:
Guest speakers from local refugee communities
Cuisines from Iraq, Somalia and more
Award-winning documentaries
Interactive learning activities and presentations
Join other students who think critically about the state of the world today and want to work with others to create a more peaceful global future.
