Dear Parents and Guardians, Year 5 Visit to Sky Skills Studios (Sky Headquarters, Osterley) Class 5G - Tuesday 3rd May 2016 Class 5M - Wednesday 4th May Class 5F - Thursday 5th May Class 5K - Friday 6th May We have a wonderful opportunity to visit Sky Headquarters and their skills studio to learn all about how a studio runs, and about the roles of individuals who work in this field. With their guidance we will create a special report on ‘Animal Rights . We will undertake some preparation and input at school prior to the visit. Full details of the visit are on the attached sheet. Due to the 9.20am start time at Osterley, we need to leave school by 8.45am prompt in two minibuses. Please ensure your child arrives at school for registration on their allocated day at 8.30am, when they should go straight to their class. The visit to Sky Studios is free but we need to ask you for a voluntary contribution of £2 per child which will go towards transport costs. No child will be excluded from this trip if this contribution is not received, however we would be very grateful for your assistance with the cost. Please send £2 cash in a sealed envelope containing the signed permission slip and forms (see below) to your class teacher as soon as possible. Thank you. Please label the envelope ‘YR 5 SKY VISIT’ and your child’s name. Your child will need a packed lunch which we will leave at school to be eaten when we return at approximately 1.00pm. Children will also need to take a small snack and drink to have upon arrival at the Sky Studios. Please complete the permission slip below, as well as the Sky Consent Forms (2), and return these to school no later than Friday 22nd April. Please ensure that all three forms are completed and returned as this is necessary in order for your child to take part. This visit promises to be very worthwhile and enjoyable. Yours sincerely,
