USING THE PLANNER

SIMS LEARNING GATEWAY (SLG) Communication is key to ensuring the whole school community is working together to boost student achievement. With SIMS Learning Gateway, you can share information with parents, teachers and pupils instantly, anytime, anywhere. The SIMS Learning Gateway a web-based application that enables you to view information on your child held by St Julian’s School. It will allow you to see reports, monitor attendance, access the curriculum timetable and review points and behaviour incidents.

KEY DATES ● Exam Week (beginning) 29th February ● Progress Evening - May 3rd ● National Tests - 4th to 7th May

LINE OF PROGRESS (LoP) ● Line of Progress has been designed to ensure progress for all ● Students will be given a starting point calculated from previous assessment information ● Students’ LoP graphs will go into planner and all exercise books ● Form Tutors and Subject Teachers will discuss progress being made ● LoP to be used as an aspirational and motivational tool ● Used to track students
