Work Experience and Projects Summer Intern at Nokia Summer 2017 Programmed new skills for Amazon Echo to respond about information regarding Nokia’s Quality and KPI Scorecards. Developed a website that compiled sets of data and tools into one convenient location. Carnegie Mellon Solar Racing (CMSR) 2015-present Designed a solar powered boat using SolidWorks to race in national competitions. Placed 3rd Overall, 2nd in Endurance and received the Most Improved and Teamwork Awards at Solar Splash 2017. Developed the mold by laying up with fiber glass. Decided to use materials such as carbon fiber and Nomex honeycomb to construct the hull. Urban Search and Rescue Robot Spring 2017 Designed and built a robot capable of numerous tasks using a Lego Mindstorms kit such as climbing stairs and ramps, as well as navigating over unknown terrain. Teleoperated the robot by utilizing its onboard cameras to carry out tasks unknown to us before our timed trial runs. Stress Analysis Crane Project Spring 2017 Worked as a team to build a crane out of flat aluminum strips capable of raising a one pound weight. Our design won an award for being the lightest crane, weighing in at 4.2 ounces out of a maximum of 20 ounces. Bottomless: A Weight Sensitive Drink Coaster: Build 18 Spring 2016 Designed and manufactured drink coasters with microcontrollers and weight sensors to monitor the amount of liquid in a cup so servers can refill drinks more efficiently and businesses can maximize profits.
