Keeping Order As a former Chapter Basileus, I am prepared for the responsibilities of Phylacter, but I am also studying for Registered Parliamentarian status. As Phylacter, I must strive for proficiency in parliamentary procedure with formal opinions during deliberations. Throughout the fiscal year, I will also train officers and conduct workshops on parliamentary procedures for the membership. One of the most important tasks as Phylacter will be my responsibility to train members of the Constitution and Bylaws Committee in parliamentary procedures so that several members of that committee are ready to assume the position of chapter Phylacter. When the chapter is populated with sorors who are knowledgeable about parliamentary procedure, meetings run more smoothly.!

Leaders must have vision. Without vision, we have no goals, objectives, or direction. As the Phylacter, I will be part of the leadership team and serve in a supportive leadership role. Understanding how our sisterhood works is tantamount to serving as an effective member of the leadership team. I am a life-long learner of the structure, function, and process of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. My role as an experienced soror is to assist the chapter with the growth and development of the sisterhood. My extensive experience working with the public has provided me numerous opportunities to hone my group dynamic skills through firsthand and vicarious experiences. Sharing my knowledge as a leader is my responsibility and privilege.
