“I’m old-fashioned; I like hardcovers. I’ve tried the Kindle, but I like the feeling of holding a book and marking my page. It’s also kind of an ego thing. I usually read books pretty fast, and when I finish, my teammates are like, ‘You read that? Oh my god. What else are you reading?’ I don’t know if they would read anything I’d recommend— at least I haven’t seen it. But if people really like adventurous books, then I recommend the Harry Potter series. I know everyone says they are kids books, but as an adult, you have to step out of the box in terms of your thinking and just enjoy it. I was kind of sad when the last one came out. It left me wanting more.” —CHRIS BOSH, as told to Matt McCue Photograph by JOSH RITCHIE
