ZETA TAU ALPHA CINCINNATI ALUMNAE ASSOCIATION August 23, 2016 Dear Zeta Sisters, I hope you are enjoying the last of a HOT summer and that you are looking forward to meeting with your Zeta sisters. What’s new? We now have a NEW November meeting. See details below. We have a web site! Go to cincinnati.zetataualpha.org. Can anyone help me with maintenance? Remember to log in to zetataualpha.org , (create username and password) to access “Sisters Only” and update your profile. We received the CROWN CHAPTER award at Convention 2016 for biennium 2014-2016! Look at p. 17 of the latest issue of THEMIS to see a blurb about our March meeting. Zeta’s National Philanthropy is breast cancer education and awareness. Locally we support Making Strides Against Breast Cancer®. This year’s walk in Cincinnati is on October 22. We are looking for volunteers to make calls to survivors 3-4 weeks prior to the event. Calls are scripted by the American Cancer Society(ACS) with some ZTA influence. ACS have agreed to give us space and phones at the ACS- 2806 Reading Road (near the Old Vernon Manor Hotel). We also welcome volunteers the day of the event! We are getting started at 7am at Yateman's Cove. We will have a tent to pass out shirts to survivors, or give out ribbons and stickers. For those that are interested, please contact me. WE are also serving our community through the Mentor Program with senior Zetas at Miami University. This will be headed up by Christine Corcoran- (Cincinnati Crown Chapter). I would love for anyone interested to get together and discuss the details to get this program up and running. This program will not only benefit the collegiate, it can also serve as a networking connection for the alumnae and give you a chance to pass your expertise on to other sisters. I’m excited about our upcoming programs, and I hope to see you at all the lunches. I know many of you have Zeta friends that are unable to come to meetings and others that might attend if you give them a call and offer a ride. Please mark these dates into your calendar and enjoy our Zeta sisterhood. Zeta love, Pann Webb, President Would you like to join our group? Would you like to attend a meeting? Everyone is welcome! DUES ARE DUE. Please send checks for dues of $25 in the enclosed envelope & reservations for all meetings payable to: Zeta Tau Alpha Alumnae Association and mailed to: Talethia Miller, 5100 Donjoy Dr., Blue Ash, OH 45242 513-794-0441 Please include your email address for future information sharing between mailings.
