Owosso got balanced contributions from all players. Nine different Owosso players scored, with Ellie Hood leading both teams with 10. Riane Ochodnicky hit for 8, including a 3 pointer; Brittany Barone also had 8 points for the winners. Anna Raffaelli added 7 points with a 3 pointer as well as 5 assists. Carmen de Santiago contributed 4 points, Kat Kincaid had 3, while Kate Jones, Lauren Spicer and Brooke Edington supplied 2 apiece. Edington also grabbed 5 rebounds. Jones and Abrams each grabbed 4 rebounds. Owosso only committed 8 turnovers on the night. Coach Graham was pleased with her team’s ability to hold the lead throughout the game. The Trojans are now 2-3 overall, waiting to entertain conference foes Waverly Friday night with a 7:30 tip off. Fell to Haslett 31-59. Ashley Abrams 12 points and 5 rebounds wasn't enough to overcome Owosso's (1-3/0-1) slow start. Haslett's (1-2/1-0) 1st half 29 points proved to be too much. Carmen de Santiago contributed 8 points, Anna Raffaelli added 5, Kate Jones had one-three pointer while Lauren Spicer battled for 2, with Ellie Hood rounding out the scoring with one. BOYS’ BASKETBALL – Fell to Perry 34-37. Drake Nover led the Trojans by scoring half of the points put on the board with 17 points. Drake was a spark off of the bench tonight as the Trojans found it difficult to put points on the board. Defensively, the Trojans played tough and made it difficult for the Ramblers to score. With six minutes to go in the fourth, the Trojans were up 28-25 when Reece Middleton hit a three pointer to tie the game. The Ramblers took the lead for good with 5:30 left. Ultimately, the game was won at the free throw line where the Ramblers outscored the Trojans 12- 1. Fell to Haslett 44-54. Haslett jumped to an early 8-2 lead off of an offensive rebound and a couple of 3's in transition and held the six point margin through the first quarter. Owosso fell behind 23-14 but was able to close the gap to 23-18 before Haslett ended the quarter in the final minute on a 6-0 run to go in at half up 29-18 but was able to get as close to five points. Owosso started the third quarter on a 8-1 run to cut the lead to 30-26 before Haslett hit two consecutive three pointers and eventually extended the lead to 10 points. The Trojans made one more run and closed the gap to 42-38 to start the fourth quarter. Haslett was

able to outscore the Trojans 12-6 in the fourth to secure the victory. The Trojans were led by Cole Mallory with 11 points in his first varsity start and 10 points by Jake Ackley. Ackley and Nick Prater each had three steals. Prater had six points to go with his three steals. The Trojans are now 0-2 and 0-1 in CAAC action. Haslett is 2-0 and 1-0 in conference play. WRESTLING– Fell to DeWitt 17-44. We wrestled a very tough Dewitt team. The boys battled hard, Coach Clevenger liked the effort. BOYS’ SWIM AND DIVE – The Trojans defeated Kearsley 87-72.

In a 115-50 victory over Ionia, we won 11 of the 12 events. Daniel Hood, Brendan Gute and Mitchell Fisher each had 4 firsts. Other contributing swimmers Garrett Hoag, Tyler Manning, Luke Wheeler, Trevor Bowers, Arthur LaVigne and Ross Raatz. I will try and get in next week. COMPETITIVE CHEER – First competition is Friday December 16th against Ionia at 1:00 in the annual Rumble and Tumble vs. Linden. BOYS’ BOWLING – Participating in the Bay City tournament this weekend.
