How to grow: Sow the seeds from March to June in pots or trays using a good quality, moist compost pressing the seed lightly into the surface. Do not cover with compost. Place in a plastic bag, seal and position in the bottom of a refrigerator for 3-4 weeks to pre-chill. Remove from the bag and re-site on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approx. 16-18˚C (60-65˚F). Germination can be slow and erratic taking several months. Transplant seedlings into trays and grow on in good light. Plant out at least 30cm (12”) apart in a sunny or partially shaded position.
