2018 Season at a Glance
April - Mid May Play abbreviated schedule around freshman schedule. Players not participating in freshman baseball will play additional games with Team B. Mid May - Mid July 3 Tournaments Approx 25 non-league games High Competition Level
Team B
Play approx 30 games beginning early April. Participate in Southwest Ohio League at level comparable to team skill set. Games in early April to Mid- May will include members of Team A who are not playing freshman baseball. Approx 3 tournaments Season will end early July
Players in the 8th grade in the Ft. Thomas school district will be able to try out for the HHS freshman baseball team for the 2018 high school season. These 8th grade players will also be invited to work out with the HHS baseball team during the 2017-2018 fall and winter workouts prior to the freshman tryouts. We expect, and hope, that some of our KYP players will be selected to play on the freshman team. Those not attending Highlands Middle School will need to check with their respective feeder schools to see what their plans are for HS baseball. Players are required to attend at least one tryout date. We recommend attending all if possible so our evaluators can have a good look to make a fair decision. We will make every effort to accomodate players unable to make the scheduled dates.
