08 March 2017 Dear Parents/Carers As you are aware, a number of pupils from Year 8 are participating in the residential trip to France towards the end of March. Whilst they are away, on Thursday 23 March 2017 the remaining pupils have the opportunity to travel by train to Cineworld Stevenage to watch an age appropriate film yet to be confirmed. This visit supports the development of pupil social skills. The cost per pupil for the travel and cinema ticket is £9. We will have lunch after the film at McDonalds or KFC depending on which your child would prefer. They will need money to take with them to buy this lunch. We will leave school at around 9am and will return by the end of the school day. Your child will need to wear their Edward Peake uniform, a coat and comfortable footwear. They should also bring a non-fizzy drink and a snack in a small backpack. As you can appreciate both tickets for travel and the cinema need to be purchased so I would kindly ask if the £9 could be paid and the permission slip below returned to school by Monday 13th March. All contributions are voluntary, if you require financial assistance with this trip please call the school office.
