Apple Jack features the simple to piece Shoo-Fly block. The pattern and class sample are wall quilt size, which can easily be enlarged by adding more blocks and/or an additional border. This is a great opportunity to use some “stash fabrics” and to purchase fat quarters in an assortment of colors and print sizes. Join Barbara as she leads you through the making of this fun quilt. Pattern: This pattern is no longer available but we have permission from the designer to provide a copy of the pattern to Farm Fest participants. Skill level: Advanced Beginner “Wheel of Fortune” - Instructor: Jan Ragaller This heirloom quilt seems to sparkle right before of your eyes! Using beautiful batik prints combined with the Wheel of Fortune block, on point and paired with pieced sashing, you can create your own fortune with this once-in-a-lifetime quilt! Jan is working with QGS to create some beautiful kits for this project! Finished quilt size 71" square. Pattern required. Skill level: intermediate
“Lotus” - Instructor: Lesley Gebbie Lotus is three petal shapes used to create triangles. “Buggy Barn Crazies” - Instructor: Ann Tully Welcome to Buggy Barn Crazies! This is going to be a fun experience that results in a great whimsical quilt that measures about 45” by 56”. You will be using the “crazy” piecing technique (stacking fabric, cutting on the lines, shuffling, and stitching it all together). This trademark piecing method is easy and forgiving, ensuring quilting success for Quilters of all levels. It’s a very fun technique and may lead to a new “addiction” in your quilting life! Skill level: All
“UFO Projects” If you have a project that you just haven’t had time for, sign up for this session and finish one or more projects! Share stories, ideas, tips, & whatever else you want to talk about while your fingers are busy piecing. What better way to spend 2 days than with an enthusiastic group of quilters just like yourself.
