We will be staying in Modanna di Campiglio which lies at 5,085 feet in a valley between the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello and Presanello glaciers. This elegant town is known as the pearl of the Brenta Dolomites. It is considered by many to be Italy’s number one ski resort, because of its beautiful landscapes, abundant snowfall and spectacular skiing. The four interconnected ski areas of the Superskirama (www.funiviecampiglio.it) include the resorts of Madonna di Campiglio, Folgarida, Marilleva and Pinzolo for a total of 57 modern lifts, 94 miles of groomed runs and nearly 3400 feet of vertical. Skiers of all ability levels will be satisfied with the varied terrain. In Modanna di Campiglio we will be staying at Hotel St. Raphael. It is a comfortable, friendly, family-run hotel situated in an ideal location, with easy access to the lifts and the center of town. Two lift stations can be reached in less than a five minute walk from the hotel. The hotel features a large sitting area with fireplace off the lobby, a cozy bar, dining room, ski room with heated boot dryers and a wellness area. The wellness area contains an indoor pool, two saunas and two steam rooms and a relaxation room. Massages and other health and beauty treatments are available for additional cost. All guest rooms offer a private bathroom with shower (no tub) and hair dryer, balcony, satellite-TV, radio, telephone, mini bar and safe. The rooms contain either one king-sized bed or two twin beds.

IMPORTANT DETAILS AND CONDITIONS PRICING DETAILS Prices are based on estimated exchange rates. Package prices will be adjusted accordingly and surcharges or refunds will be passed on to the participants based on actual exchange rates received by Snow Tours when overseas payments are made. Participants may pay by check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). Package prices are based on a group size of at least 15 paying participants. Group motor coach transfers between Verona and Madonna, and the hotel rates at both hotels are based on a minimum group size of 15 people. The one-way taxi transfers between Verona Airport and Verona hotel are based on a minimum of two people traveling together. If a private transfer is required for someone due to his or her flight schedule not matching up with anyone else in the group, additional transfer costs may apply. Snow Tours will assist in arranging any additional transfers that are needed. There are no refunds for unused group transfers. Should group size fall between 10 and 14 paying participants, additional charges will apply.
FLORENCE TO VERONA For those participating in the conference, the transfer from Florence to Verona is not included in the package price. Currently, a one-way 1st class train ticket costs $67, and a 2nd class ticket costs $51. The journey takes 2½ hours. Depending on the number of people traveling together, a group discount may apply. A taxi transfer from the train station to the hotel will be arranged once the total number of people is known. Group size will determine the per person cost for the taxi transfer.
DEPOSIT A deposit of $500 per person is due to Snow Tours by OCTOBER 10, 2011. After October 10, 2010, the hotels reserve the right to cancel any rooms not held by deposit. However, they will continue to hold rooms for the group as long as possible.
FINAL PAYMENT Final payment is due to Snow Tours no later than DECEMBER 16, 2011.
CANCELLATION POLICY All payments are non-refundable unless refunds can be negotiated with hotels. Sometimes partial refunds can be negotiated, depending on the date of cancellation and the ability of the hotels to resell the rooms. A minimum cancellation fee of $150 per person will apply for any cancellations made after October 10, 2010.
AIR ARRANGEMENTS Snow Tours will be happy to assist any participants with airfare needs. Participants are also welcome to obtain their own airline tickets. In order to coordinate transfers to and from Verona, it is important that participants inform Snow Tours of their air travel plans PRIOR to purchasing a ticket.
