6CHe’ students have been busy this half term in the garden and out in the local community. We have learned about weeding and preparing soil for plants and seeds, with each student having the opportunity to sow seeds and re-pot a plant. We even had a visit from Mick, a gardener from B & Q!

Mick from B & Q came in to school and demonstrated how to repot seedlings and plants and he then watched as we all had a go.

We have continued working with The Northumberland Wildlife Trust, to help and support the parishioners at St John’s Church to care for the wildlife in and around the church grounds. This was done as part of our of Edinburgh’ Award Volun-
