Free Community Dinner Here’s an opportunity for all interested adult or young adult to serve during Sunday Morning Worship Ushers at needed at both 9:00 a.m. and the 11:00 a.m. service. Food Pantry Report The Harrisburg Crisis Food Pantry served 22 families (78 individuals) on July 17th. This weeks needs: rice (small bags or boxes) grits canned fruit soups (small & large - 19 oz) toilet tissue dish washing liquid laundry detergent You all add so much to the "ask and you shall receive"! Volunteer to Serve The community dinners making a real impact on our community, as a way to get together with friends and neighbors. To nourish our bodies and our souls. We invite all to come and eat, as well as come and volunteer. Volunteer are needed to assist with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals, as well as set and pack up of the dining and kitchen areas. Volunteering in this capacity is a great way to build fellowship and serve the community at the same time. WOW! Have you seen the update new and improved shed
Harrisburg United Methodist Church has both a Cub Scout and Boy Scout group that meet weekly.
Scouting is broken up into age groups: Kindergarten to 5th grade is Cub Scouts Boys ages 11-17 is Boy Scouts The Cub Scout Pack 222 meets on Tuesday evenings during the school year, from 6:45 to 8pm. We’ll start this fall on September 5th, in the Fellowship Hall. Contact us at

[email protected] To be honest many of us thought the shed was a lost cause, rotting wood, peeling paint, an unsatisfactory roof. To tare down and rebuild or try to renovate. Well, the renovation is complete and it looks great. Thanks to Richard Morrison, Ken Gatlin, Bob Kohler, David Bilbro, Todd Foulks, Mike Stanley.
