3 Cover the mats with a little sieved compost, approx. 6mm (¼”), and water to moisten the compost — allow to drain. 4 Cover pots with a piece of paper and maintain a temperature of 10–15ºC (50-60ºF). Remove paper when seeds begin to sprout.

• Pick leaves as required. • Start a new mat every 2 weeks for continuous cropping.
