3 Cover the mats with a little sieved compost, approx. 6mm (¼”), and water to moisten the compost — allow to drain. 4 Cover pots with a piece of paper and maintain a temperature of 18-21ºC (65-70ºF). Remove paper when seeds begin to sprout.

6 When the plants have grown to fill their pots, plant out into large containers, growing bags, or direct into the greenhouse border. Can also be planted outside when frost risk has passed. Allow 45cm (18”) between plants.
