OPEN SEASON: ORDINARY GAME
I, Lebogang Maile, Member of the Executive Council for Economic Development, Environment, Agriculture and Rural Development in the Province of Gauteng, acting under section 17(1)(a) of the Nature Conservation Ordinance (Ordinance 12 of 1983, as amended), hereby declare the periods mentioned in the first column of Schedule 1 to be open season during which time the category of persons referred to in this Schedule may, subject to the provisions of the said Ordinance, hunt the species mentioned in the second column with daily bag limit of ordinary game mentioned in the third column in the area defined opposite it in the fourth column of this Schedule. SCHEDULE 1 PERSONS WHO HUNT ON LAND OF WHICH THEY ARE THE OWNER, AND PERSONS ARE NOT THE OWNER OF THE LAND ON WHICH THEY HUNT
