Thank you for purchasing the Ozone Little Devil. Please read this manual carefully as it contains important information and safety precautions. WARNING: Kite flying can be dangerous and addictive! -Always use extreme caution when using this product. -Never act in a careless manner when using this product. -You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others around you when using this product. -Learn to fly your kite in light wind speeds until you are a competent kite flyer. The Little Devil kites only require 5mph of wind speed to fly. However, choosing the correct size kite in relation to the wind speed depends on the kite flyers skill level and specific use. Power kites can produce tremen dous power so care must be taken if you are new to flying kites. An adult should supervise children flying power kites to ensure they are using the kites in a con trolled and responsible manner.
handle. The yellow lines are the brake lines and attach to the orange connector line on the handle. The green lines go to the green kite connector while the yellow lines go to the yellow kite connector. Two-line To use the Little Devil with two-lines you will need to disconnect the yellow flying lines from the orange handle connector lines. Loosen the larks foot on the green flying lines where they attach to the green handle line. Pass the end of the orange handle connector through the green flying line larks foot so it attaches all three lines together. Next remove the yellow flying lines from the yellow connectors at the kite. Coil the removed yellow flying lines together and store them in the kite bag. Loosen the larks foot on the green flying line at the connector line. Now bring the yellow connector through the green flying line larks foot, again joining all three lines. You should now be ready to fly the two-line version of the Little Devil.
ASSEMBLY

The Little Devil is pre-assembled as a four-line kite but it can also be flown as a two-line. The two-line mode is suitable for beginners and snow kiting if the rider prefers using a control bar. The four-line mode will give you more control but requires more skill. If you have difficulty flying the four-line version to start with we recommend changing to the two-line mode by following the simple and quick instructions below.

Knots All attachments on the Little Devil are made with a larks foot around a connector knot.
To launch your Little Devil, un-roll the kite and lay it on the ground. Unfold the kite with the cell openings facing into the wind. With the kite spread out completely, take both handles, leaving the coil on the kite and slowly walk into the wind. If this is done correctly the coiled line should un-wind easy with no tangles. Next make sure that all of the fully stretched lines are going in a straight line to the kite with no twists or crossed lines. You should now be ready to launch the Little Devil. Hold the handles loosely with your index finger and thumb just below the green handle line. With your hands relaxed, about a half meter apart and with the line taunt give a good pull on the top portion of the handles. The kite should come up and fly above your head. If you are holding the handle correctly most of the pull will be at the top of the handle through the green handle lines. Turning There are different ways to turn the Little Devil. With the two-line version turns are made by pulling one brake handle more than the other. Pull the left handle to turn the kite to the left and pull the right handle to turn to the right. With the four-line version you can use the brakes to assist the turn; this makes the turns fast and tight. The brakes are applied by pulling just the bottom of the handle. By applying one brake fully and holding it, the kite will spin in the given direction until you release it again. When combining handle pulling and brake input you will achive a smooth coordinated turn. Packing
Four-line To use the Little Devil as four-line set-up you will need to reattach the yellow flying lines. Simply reverse the two-line process.

To pack your little Devil, start by putting both handles together and placing under your arm. Gather all four lines in your hand of the arm that the handles are under. With the opposite hand begin to make even coils until you have reached the kite. Still holding the handles and coil in one arm lay the kite flat with the lines facing up and then fold each tip in past the center cell. (Fig 1) Place the coils neatly in the center of the wing while still holding the handles under your arm. Now set the handles on the ground just behind the back edge of the kite. Fold the tips of the kite in towards the center until the kite is folded neatly as wide as the handles are long. (Fig 2) Place the handles on the back of the kite and roll them in with the kite. You should now have a nice rolled package that will fit into the Ozone kite bag. (Fig 3)
