VINEYARD NOTES With the highest percentage than the other two signature vineyard blends Red Willow is dominated by the fresh Merlot grown on its ancient basalt soils. This Right Bank style blend captures the essence of Yakima -high elevation vineyards that ripen beautifully. Each block in this stunning vineyard is located against the foothills of Mount Adams and is meticulously farmed by multiple generations of the Sauer family. Red Willow Vineyard is one of the finest sites for Merlot-based blends and showcases more red fruit notes than either the Union Gap and DuBrul blend.
