Care Team- This wonderful team of volunteers provides support, a card or meals in time of need to Episcopal families, faculty & staff. Chair: Charlene Thompson [email protected]

Episcopal Gear- Get School Spirit and help organize, distribute, and sell Episcopal Gear spirit apparel and fun items. There are three sales held during the year: Orientation Day sale, Holiday sale and Knight sale. Chair: Chiquita Spears [email protected]

Greenery Committee- Continue the Episcopal tradition and join our longest- running fundraiser selling beautiful holiday greenery! [email protected]

Karnival

Habitat for Humanity- Support the Upper School (ages 16 and up) construction team in building a Habitat for Humanity home along with other area high schools. Help needed with construction, snacks, and cooking. Chair: Rosalyn Slaughter (Williams), [email protected]

Karnival Knight- There are lots of ways to help with this school-wide family fun event to be held on Friday, March 21st, 2014. All volunteers are welcome! Karnival Knight is always a night to remember; join the fun! Chairs: Kate Brown, [email protected] , and Lisa Guarisco, [email protected]

Mailing Committee- The mailing committee is great way to meet new people and volunteer for PG. Join this fun group as they coordinate Parents’ Guild mailings throughout the year. Chair: Brigette Castine, [email protected]

Pizza Sales- The students love Pizza Day! Join the Pizza committee one Friday each month from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. Used Uniform Sales Committee- Help collect and prepare uniforms for sale as well as work on used uniform sale days. Chair:

Listed below are other Episcopal projects and activities (not sponsored by Parents’ Guild) that also provide meaningful opportunities for parent volunteers to get involved with our school: ___

Open House- Help the Admissions Office welcome prospective students and families to our EHS community during Open House, usually held during the first weekend in November. Volunteers are needed to help with planning, touring families, and answering questions of prospective families. Contact: Jennifer Artigue, EHS Director of Admissions, [email protected]

Grandparents Day- Lower School children welcome grandparents and special friends to EHS with a half day visit to campus. Volunteers help with decorations, food, photography, and assisting the grandparents around campus. Grandparents and Special Friends Day is held in the spring of each school year. Annual Fund- This campaign is run by the Development Office and is our traditional fundraising drive for our entire school community. Beginning in mid-September, parent volunteers call other parents to obtain pledged donations to the fund. Contact: Dee Harvill, Director of Development, [email protected]

Aldrich Library Volunteers- Volunteers needed each day in the Middle/ Upper School library from 11am to 1pm to assist with checking books in and out of the library, shelving books, and helping students at the front desk. Contact: Nancy Kramm, [email protected]

Pollard Library Volunteers- The Lower School library is a wonderful place to volunteer. Help students check out books, reshelve books, and assist the librarian as needed. Twice a month, AM or PM. Training provided. Chair: Beth Robards, [email protected]
