Multi-tier Platform We provide a multi-tier skill level platform (Juniors, Recreational, Developmental, Select, and Premier) that provides opportunities for all children year-round. Here are some details:
Soccer for the little ones: Mini Strikers and Little Strikers are aimed at introducing soccer to young players in a fun way, with games, activities and small sided scrimmages.
Recreational: Belle Clair Soccer League is our biggest offering with ~1500 boys and girls ages 3 through 14. The League runs every Fall with early registration opening in May.
Developmental: Sporting Belle Clair is a program design to provide Recreational players with an opportunity to play competitive soccer without the financial or travel commitment of Club soccer. Sporting Belle Clair will allow rec players and parents to ease their way into the competitive environment and thus create a more robust feeder program for Legacy FC. Sporting teams will play local Leagues and Tournaments under the wing of a licensed coach.
Select: Metro East Legacy Football Club is devoted to developing and providing the best soccer experience possible to children from pre-elementary age through high school. We seek to teach all of our players the fundamental skills of soccer and to make soccer a pleasant, fun, and safe experience for all involved. Legacy FC is also devoted to developing and providing competent coaches and adequate facilities suitable to the organization and conduct of the game and for achieving the purposes of Metro East Legacy FC. Legacy FC also fosters local, state, and national competition through affiliation with the Illinois Youth Soccer Association and the United States Federation. The Metro East Legacy is committed to the promotion of soccer and the development of its players to their highest potential level of achievement.
Premier: This program is offered through our partnership with professional Scottish club Rangers FC. The Rangers North American Academy will host a series of Elite Player ID Events with Metro East Legacy and Belle Clair Soccer League during the season and Rangers will send members of their Academy staff to work with the players at these events. The best male and female players at these events will be invited to go to the Rangers National Camp. From this camp, the very best will be invited to travel to Scotland and train with the Rangers main Academy.
