Blue Raider Big Picture

Blue Raider Bullet Points

University Information

• Middle Tennessee is hosting the Blue Raider Classic on Friday and Saturday with USF, Austin Peay and Kennesaw State making the trip to Murfreesboro for games at Dean A. Hayes Stadium. This is the first time the Blue Raiders are hosting a tournament in five years. • This weekend’s tournament is Youth-Camper Weekend. The first 125 fans that come to the MT’s games will receive a soccer drawstring bag and a soccer stress ball. • The Blue Raiders are 3-0 against the Governors all-time and have out-scored them 11-1 in those contests. • MT and Austin Peay have faced two common opponents this season in Alabama and Lipscomb. While the Blue Raiders tied Alabama and defeated Lipscomb, the Governors suffered a 5-0 loss to the Crimson Tide and a 2-0 loss the Lady Bisons.. • MT and USF have only met once before in program history and that was in the 2013 season when the Bulls came out on top with a 1-0 victory.
