General Reporter, Macquarie Radio Network News Main responsibility: • To generate stories, edit and read news bulletins for radio stations 2GB, 2UE and 2CH.
Duties: • Produce radio news stories – conduct interviews, write scripts, voice reports and edit audio. • Conduct live crosses to program presenters on 2GB, 2UE and other MRN stations. • Make regular posts to Twitter. • Overnight and weekend work is required. Required Skills and Knowledge • At least one year experience in a radio news environment. • Ability to identify a story and file accurate, informative and interesting content. • Attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
