Call to Order: Jeff Nemacheck called the meeting to order at 7pm Roll Call a. Present: Nemacheck, Beerman, Froberg, Garrow, Cornock, Moyer, Cambensy, L’Huillier b. absent: Belkowski Additions or Deletions to Agenda and Approval of Agenda: Motion to Approve by Froberg, 2nd Garrow, motion passes Approval of Minutes: Motion to approve by Garrow, 2nd Beerman, motion passes Treasurer’s Report: Attached. Motion to approve, Froberg, 2nd Nemacheck, motion passes Public Comment (Limited to 3 minutes per speaker): Dan Beerman, Ragusette, Johnson and Ketzenberger are all interested in fielding a 12U A team. President Cornock reiterated the current policy that if there are enough first year players that participated at the AA tryouts to field an A team and a B team that it will can be permitted. Only players that try out for the AA team are eligible for the A team and players that are selected to the AA team cannot go to the A team. Jeff Steer asked about the girls team situation which will be reflected in the division directors report. Division Directors’ Reports: a. 18U – there are no applicants for the 18U and 16U split season teams b. 14U – Motion by Nemacheck, 2nd Froberg to approve Jon Nebel as coach of 14U AA Team. Motion passes c. 12U – Motion by Moyer , 2nd Froberg to approve Mike L’Huillier as coach of 12U AA Team. Motion passes. d. 10U – Motion by Beerman , 2nd Froberg to approve Ryan Riipi as coach of 10U AA Team. Motion Passes e. 8U –None f. 6U –none g. Girls – 19U AA coach as withdrawn his application, MJH will advertise for a coach. 6 elegible players may look to combine with a Copper Country team. h. Learn to Skate – none Travel Team Report/Billing: None MJHC Director’s Report (Presented in writing): Starrett mentioned the MAHA meeting is July 7-9 2016 Review Action Items from Previous Meeting a. Elmhirst to email Nemacheck policy language on Nationals expenses-Done b. Nemacheck to send out revised Parent Handbook - Done c. Cornock to email Andrew the schedule for 2016-17 tournaments-Done d. Elmhirst to email Negaunee on Holiday Tournament dates-Done

Committee Reports a. Sponsorships – Belkowski – Waiting on 1 team check b. Fundraising –A. Beerman – the committee set a goal of $40,000 for the 16-17 season with 3 fundraisers kicking off at the end of October with a Pizza/pasta party at Vangos. Looking at Grant dates and a progressive raffle. Also looking at an end of year Hoe-down at Lakeview and selling MJH apparel at Lakeview. c. Equipment – Cornock, D. Beerman – Missing 1 set of jerseys for Mainstreet Pizza d. Tournaments – Garrow, Moyer – need to register tournaments. e. Coaching – L’Huillier, Nemacheck – Nothing f. Officials – Froberg – nothing g. Conduct Review – L’Huillier, Garrow, Froberg – Nothing from MAHA on one player, Cornock will contact the president of MAHA h. Facilities – Mac – None Old Business a.
