Ellie Hanselman goes out of her
Aleisha Connor is always willing
way to be kind to all students. She is constantly helping students who aren't sure of what to do or how to do an assignment. Each day she gets out math homework from gold folders for students who are out of the room so it is ready to grade with us when they return. She always makes sure I am
to help other students achieve their goals. She takes the extra time and effort to lend a helping hand. I would love to see Aleisha recognized for this extra effort.

Being a newer teacher, I've struggled on occasion with several students, and Tyler would always go out of his way to tell me that I'm doing a great job. It's so precious to me to have a student as a "cheerleader," and I'll say that Tyler has been my cheerleader many times!

Landen Fussnecker is always caring about his classmates whether they are hurt or sad, Landen is there to find out what it is that he can do to make their day better. He is always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Landen has such a big heart and truly cares about his family, friends, classmates, and teachers.
Cody Sawyers is a very caring student. He is always asking about his peers and checking to ensure they are doing ok. He truly cares about his teachers and classmates. Cody is respectful and looks out for this around him.
Kaydee Powell is new to our district this year and she doesn't know most of the students yet when she sees an opportunity to help someone she is one of the first in the class to seize the opportunity. If someone needs their milk open, Kaydee will do it. If someone has a breakfast spill in the room Kaydee is there with paper towels in hand or moving items out of the way so they don't get wet. Kaydee is a definite asset to our district with her caring nature!
Tyler Newberry was actually
Taylor McKinney is such a caring person both inside and outside the classroom. She always goes above and beyond to help those around her. She is genuinely concerned about the well-being of those around her and always puts others above herself. She is a big asset to #GirlStrong as a mentor to elementary girls and that is because of her caring nature!
Mariah Bonar demonstrated the theme caring in a very thoughtful way. I am a new teacher this year so of course I got all of the hand-me-downs in my classroom. One was a lectern/podium that was on its last leg! I casually mentioned it to a few of my students during advisory to be careful around it because it might fall apart. Mariah took notice and was going to build me a new one. She found a new one, put it together and delivered it to me during my plan period. I was so surprised and extremely grateful. It has been the most thoughtful and caring thing that a student has done for me ever!
