WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY My daughter has permission to attend and participate in the Jeffersonville Girls Basketball League. I have no knowledge of any physical impairment that would affect or be affected by my daughter’s participation in this league. I specifically waive and release the Jeffersonville High School girls’ basketball coaching staff, JGBL coaches, the Greater Clark County School Corporation and Jeffersonville High School of liability for any injuries that may occur as a result of this league. 2016 JGBL League and Jeffersonville HS Information This season the Jeffersonville Girls Basketball League will take place in the fall to create a balanced calendar of basketball for all girls interested in being part of our program. In particular, the transition from JGBL to Elementary teams then to the newly formed Feeder teams. Below you will see a rough outline of dates and events available for youth girls’ basketball players. This will help develop and strengthen the Jeffersonville High School program and also promote participation of girls in basketball. All applicants must confirm with us by Tuesday, September 6th. Pre-Draft workout for all players @ Jeff High on Tuesday, September 6th from 6-7:30. All Players will be evaluated and placed on a team then contacted by a coach before the first game Saturday, September 10th. We are offering two divisions this year: 2nd/ 3rd grade league and 4th/5th grade league. All games and practices will be at Jeffersonville High School except Saturday, September 10th which will be at Parkview MS. Games will be played September 10, 17, 24 and October 1. October 17: Jeffersonville High School Season Starts December 12-16: Jeffersonville High School Feeder Team Tryouts -
This year the Jeffersonville HS staff will be organizing teams in grades 3-6 for girls enrolled in elementary/middle schools that feed into Jeff HS. These teams will require a tryout and we will keep one team of 10-12 for each of those grade levels. This will be a competitive level team that will play in school based tournaments. Girls will practice 1-2 times per week and play in 3-5 tournaments.
