A meeting of the Budget and Infrastructure Committee of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Heritage Room, City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, on February 28, 2016 at 4:33 pm. ADOPTION OF MINUTES 2.1 It was moved and seconded: That the Minutes of the February 21, 2017 Budget & Infrastructure Committee meeting be adopted as circulated. Carried 3. REPORTS 3.1
2017-2018 Business Plan Follow-up Information A discussion on the 2017-2018 Business plan follow-up information

2017-2018 Capital Plan Follow Up Part II It was moved and seconded: That the project 7-93 Laurier Avenue – Coast Meridian to End be removed from the 2018 Capital Plan. Carried It was moved and seconded: That the project 7-123 Somerset Street – Raymond to Lincoln move forward with the original scope and budget. Carried Councillor West voted against the resolution It was moved and seconded: That a project be created to install a signalized system at Nicola and Hawkins and update the budget to include an additional $260,000 from the General Capital Reserve. Defeated Councillor Penner and Councillor Dupont voted in favour of the resolution It was moved and seconded: That the Transportation Solutions & Public Works Committee look at options for a four-way stop at the Nicola and Hawkins intersection. Carried Councillor Penner voted against the resolution

It was moved and seconded: 3.2 Cont. That $15,000 be allocated from the Capital Reserve for additional bear proof garbage cans and that staff report back to the Transportation Solutions and Public Works Committee on the amount and location. Carried Councillor Washington voted against the resolution It was moved and seconded: That staff bring forward a report to the Budget & Infrastructure Committee by September 2017 regarding completion of Nicola Avenue. Carried 4.
ADJOURNMENT It was moved and seconded: 4.1 That the Budget & Infrastructure Committee Meeting of February 28, 2017 be adjourned at 6:31 pm. Carried
