2017 Jordan Study Tour This fall, Jordan Tourism Board, in partnership with Royal Jordanian, is sponsoring a Virtuoso-exclusive Study Tour to Amman, Jerash, Madaba, Mount Nebo, Petra, Wadi Rum & Dead Sea. This itinerary features remarkable religious and historical experiences among the desert landscapes. Along the way, you’ll experience some of the culinary and wine-offerings that this destination has to offer. This study tour is open to Virtuoso advisors from the USA/Canada only. • To apply for this study tour, please click HERE, or log into Virtuoso.com, select the Virtuoso Travel Academy from the "Advisor Tools" drop-down and click on the "Study Tours" page. • To view the preliminary itinerary, please click HERE or visit the Virtuoso Travel Academy (see above) Additional Information: • Dates: October 26th – November 3rd, 2017 • Total cost of trip for Virtuoso Advisors is $999.00, plus domestic airfare, and includes roundtrip international airfare to/from Amman (QAIA) on royal Jordanian, hotel accommodations, most meals, excursions, ground transportation, transfers, and gratuities for meals. • Price does not include domestic airfare to and from gateways (New York City (JFK) or Montreal (YUL)), costs associated with any airline delays, or government taxes and fees, which will be at each advisor's expense. • Price does not include incidentals such as gratuities for room service, phone/fax/internet charges, laundry, or beverages and meals not specified in the final itinerary. • This trip is nonrefundable once paid. Payment information will be collected from all approved advisors, once participation is confirmed. • Accommodations are single occupancy for Virtuoso Advisors ONLY; no guests. This study tour is open to Virtuoso advisors from the USA/Canada only. • Please note, this will be an active trip focused on soft adventure travel. To ensure you meet the physical conditions necessary for participating in this trip, please review the itinerary carefully before applying. All applicants must be willing and able to participate in all activities, which may include extensive walking. Applicants should not have any pre-existing medical conditions that could preclude them from participating in all activities. • All confirmed participants must complete all 2017 Jordan LEAP Series components, available HERE. The deadline to apply is Friday, August 4, 2017. Applicants will be advised of their status by Friday, August 11, 2017. This is not a first come, first served opportunity. We seek to select those advisors who best fit each educational trip. Thus, approval is based on specific eligibility factors; Attendees must have proven international sales (such as Middle East, Africa, Asia & Europe), and potential for future sales of Jordan. Preference will be given to advisors selling FITs and groups and not solely cruise or corporate travel. Important: There will be no refunds for cancellations after trip payment is received.
