DEHYDRATING Thursday, September 21, 9am - 12 Noon Learn one of the oldest methods of food preservation. Come and taste the fun of drying your own PEAR RELISH Saturday, October 14, 9am - 12 Noon Learn the boiling water bath method of preservation. Can and take home a jar of relish. KNIFE SKILLS Saturday, October 21, 9am - 12 Noon Chop like a pro. Cut your cooking time in half. Learn how to bone a chicken. Take home your chopped vegetables and chicken ready to go in the pot. PRESSURE CANNING Saturday, November 4, 9am - 12 Noon Have no fear! Come and learn this safe and reliable method of preserving. Take home a jar of what we can in class. MEAT CLASS Saturday, November 11, 9am - 12 Noon Your meat should not be a mystery. Learn the cuts of meat, what the grades of meat mean. Save money by doing some of this at home. Tasting included! FRUIT BUTTER Saturday, December 2, 9am - 12 Noon Homemade fruit butters for Holiday gift! Learn the boiling wa ter bath method by canning fruit butter in class. Take home a jar. CHUTNEY Saturday, December 9, 9am - 12 Noon Perk up your winter or give as a gift. Learn the boiling water bath method by canning chutney in class. Take home a jar. 9 am - 12 Noon $35.00.
