2017 Spring Kitchen Classes
All Kitchen Classes are $35.00 each. OR take 2 or more classes and pay $30.00 each. BOILING WATER BATH Wednesday, May 3, 2017 6pm-9pm Have fun preparing your own hot sauce as you learn the Boiling Water Bath method of canning. Can it and take home a jar! LOW SUGAR STRAWBERRY PRESERVES Thursday, June 22 6pm-9pm Learn the Boiling Water Bath method of preservation. Can and take home a jar of preserves. SPICE BLENDING Thursday, July 20 6pm-8pm Take your same old meals from drab to fab! Taste spices and spice mixes from around the world. Make your own blend to take home. PRESSURE CANNING Thursday, July 27 6pm-9pm Learn to safely preserve your low acid foods like vegetables, meats, soups, stocks and stews. Take home a jar of whatever we preserve in class QUICK PICKLES Thursday, August 24 6pm-9pm Learn the Boiling Water Bath method of preserving food from your garden or farm market. Can and take home a jar of dilly beans.
