2017 Performance Data Conference 2017 Wednesday 29th November 2017 | 1.00-3.30 | Okehampton College

Aims Bring together Primary heads and senior leaders to share 2017 EYFS, KS1 and KS2 performance data. We aim to offer the national, county and local picture and facilitate group discussions between leaders about the improvement plans that they are implementing this year. This is the second of our 2017 Performance Data Conferences, and builds on the early data we shared in July and the feedback from delegates.

Content Session 1 – National and County analysis Suzie Winter will share national and Devon figures for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 and explore main issues arising from 2 years of data under the new assessment framework.

Session 2 – Local picture Jon Lunn will examine attainment performance of Dartmoor TSA and other TSA schools and raise questions for leaders to consider. Schools that have made strong improvement in 2017 will share their successes about specific impact of strategies employed.

Session 3 – Feedback from Babcock on moderation and changes to 2018 process Joy Simpson will provide summary of main learning points from Babcock moderation process in 2017 and highlight changes to 2018 process.

Session 4 – Working together Group themed discussions about effective improvement strategies. Each group will focus on one theme (Maths, Reading, Writing) and with facilitation from a SLE.

Conference Leads Suzie Winter Since January, Suzie has been the Strategic Student Data Analyst for Ivybridge Academy Trust. Previously Suzie was the Strategic Data Manager for Babcock LDP.

Jon Lunn Senior Associate for Dartmoor TSA. He is an experienced Data Leader who supports two crossphase MATs. He is currently Director of Performance for the Ted Wragg MAT.
