Conference Leads
Bring together Primary heads and senior leaders to share early analysis of 2017 KS2 SATs results. By comparing the KS2 data from over 60 primary schools (DTSA / SWTSA) we aim to provide valuable comparative data that will enable school leaders to start planning for 20172018 improvement priorities.
Suzie Winter
Content Session 1 – Early analysis Suzie Winter (Ivybridge Academy Trust) will explore issues arising from second year of new KS2 SATs and share any insights from early national data.
Session 2 – Devon picture Jon Lunn will examine attainment performance of local Devon schools and raise questions for leaders to consider.
Session 3 – Practioner Input Presentations from schools where significant progress has been made in closing gaps and strategies that have led to this.
Since January, Suzie has been the Strategic Student Data Analyst for Ivybridge Academy Trust. Previously Suzie was the Strategic Data Manager for Babcock LDP.
Jon Lunn Senior Associate for Dartmoor TSA. He is an experienced Data Leader who supports two cross- phase MATs. He is currently Director of Performance for the Ted Wragg MAT.
Claire Eidam Deputy Head of Bassett’s Farm Primary School (Exmouth) and SLE for DTSA. Claire is a KS2 writing moderator for Devon.
Data Submission Delegates are asked to submit their KS2 SATs results to Jon Lunn by TUESDAY 11TH JULY 10AM. Jon will send details of how to do this to delegates.

Session 4 – Working together
Free to DTSA and SWTSA member schools. £50 for non-members.
Work with schools in similar contexts, discuss school improvement planning for 2017-2018 and opportunities for collaboration.
