For this privilege, the player and her family have additional responsibilities to both their All-Star team, and Rancho Cucamonga Ace Softball. Players chosen for the team agree to commit to the select and allstar season from approximately April - August. A commitment to participate in all team functions, practices, team meetings and/or fundraisers. Practices may begin after April 29th and can be held any day, dependent upon the Manager’s discretion. However, regular season team participation is the priority. Willingness to play any position(s), your All-Star Manager assigns you to play, taking in consideration the best interests of the team. Acceptance that playing time is left to the discretion of the manager. As a parent or guardian, arranging and providing for all travel, overnight accommodations, and meals associated with the above events. If selected to a team and player declines to participate the player will not be eligible to play on any other all-star team during the current year Teams may fundraise or solicit sponsorships to pay for equipment, extra tournaments, travel etc. Each team is responsible for their own fundraising. Each team will nominate a financial coordinator and that person will be required to submit to the board an itemized expense list of the money taken in and how it was spent. If a player resigns and or quits from the commitment made to the team, she will not be eligible for any future all-star and or Select Teams. All-star Registration Fees are not refundable for any reason. Pay required All Star fee - See attached fee breakdown includes tournament cost, uniforms, and medals

2018 Rancho Cucamonga Ace Softball All Star Tournament Team Availability/Eligibility Form
All-Star Selection Philosophy Rancho Cucamonga Ace Softball in general, is a recreational league whose primary goal is to allow all of the registered girls to have fun. This philosophy is carried through to the selection and goals of the representative All-Star teams. Though it is expected that we will be competitive with the teams representing the other associations in the Western District, we will make every effort to select our All-Star personnel by the skills, sportsmanship, and attitude demonstrated in game situations.
All-Star Recognition An All-Star season deserves All-Star recognition and will be based on the following criteria: 1.
Athletic skills demonstrated in competition with her peers in game situations. These skills will include running, sliding, throwing, hitting, bunting, catching and positional skills.
2.
Sportsmanship qualities observed by managers and coaches. These qualities will include congratulating and encouraging teammates, camaraderie, respect for teammates, opponents, and officials, punctuality and dependability at practices and games, a positive attitude, and willingness to play several positions as well as take a turn sitting out.
Travel Ball Eligibility / Restrictions All teams playing in Rancho Cucamonga Ace Softball program are governed by USA Softball. Therefore, the following eligibility restrictions in regards to travel ball players must be strictly adhered to. Non-Compliance with the following USA policies and procedures may result in suspension or disqualification of the individual player and/or the entire team. Please Read Carefully League Team Eligibility:

1. Teams shall not have any players who have participated with a travel type team after March 31st of the current year. NOTE: “Participate” in the above shall be defined as – A player taking part in any try out, practice, practice game, scheduled tournament or clinic.
