2018 Boys Soccer Parent Informational Meeting
Quick Introduction • Coach Wickham • Soccer Playing Level: Pretty Good • Playing Experience: Had a lot of fun • Coaching Experience: Several Years • Coaching Licenses: A few. Some with names, others with letters.
In addition, our mission as players and coaches is to create and sustain a positive and reliable team chemistry that will not only allow for the players to compete collectively and individually, but that also is sustainable during difficult and challenging obstacles. As a team we will never lower our heads when the game doesn’t go our way. Rather, we will keep our heads high and help one another learn from our mistakes. The team is more important than the individual, but if an individual player struggles academically, socially, or athletically, the team strives to help that individual to succeed. We are a team that is proud of our teammate’s individual achievements, not jealous, and we understand that each individual has a significant role as we strive toward success. In the end, the Mountain View High School Soccer program is a family that supports one another on and off the field. Together, we continuously create the tradition of Mountain View High School and all those who have played before us, and all those that will play after us. No excuses, no quitting, only determination, respect, and BROTHERHOOD!
Whether it is on the field or in the classroom, we follow our motto: 1) 2) 3)
PLAY TO YOUR BEST PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND EMOTIONAL ABILITY HAVE FUN LOVE The Game Your Family
