2018 David Moorhead Basketball Tournament Rules AWS
2018 David Moorhead Basketball Tournament Rules (Rules adopted by the Diocese of Covington Grade School Athletic Association Committee)
Kentucky High School Athletic Association rules govern all levels with these exceptions/additions:
6th Boys and Girls
• 28.5 inch ball for girls; 29.5 inch ball for boys
• (4) 6 minute Quarters with clock stopping on all dead ball situations. • Full Court Defense throughout the game permitted. NO pressing with a 15 point or greater lead. • Timeouts: (5) per game. (3) 60 second and (2) 30 second. 1 additional timeout per overtime period. • Overtime (s) will be (3) minutes. • A forfeit will be declared after a 10 minute grace period of game time. • 3 Point shots count • Coaches who are given (2) technical fouls will be asked to leave the gym and will result in a (1) game tournament suspension. School’s athletic director will be informed.
PLEASE RESPECT ALL OFFICIALS WHILE SHOWING GOOD SPORTMANSHIP AND SETTING A CHRISTIAN EXAMPLE!
