2018 Kansas CCIM Chapter Course Scholarship Program Information and Application Scholarship Program Guidelines The Kansas CCIM Chapter Course Scholarship Program was created to support qualified real estate professionals in their efforts to achieve the CCIM designation. Recipient should exemplify the high caliber of professionals that comprise the CCIM Institute. Scholarship Selection Criteria Includes the following: • Each applicant should be able to demonstrate a commitment to a commercial real estate career (see application). • Each applicant should be able to demonstrate active involvement as a due paying member with a local CCIM Chapter. For those seeking advanced course scholarships (CI 103 or CI 104) this additional criterion applies: •
Recipient of this scholarship should be selected from among individuals who have already successfully completed CI 101 and CI 102.
Scholarship Value Recipient will receive a scholarship value between $1,000.00 and up to $2,000.00 for use as a reimbursement following completion of CCIM designation courses: CI 101, CI 102, CI 103 or CI 104. NOTE: Scholarship recipient must show successful completion and passing of the registered class during the 2018 calendar year to receive the scholarship funds, failing the course renders the scholarship null and void. Procedure Deadline for Submission Completed applications are to be submitted on or before November 22, 2017 by 12:00 noon to [email protected]. NOTE: The scholarship award can only be redeemed for a 2018 course. The scholarship can not be applied retroactively to any course already taken; the award is not redeemable for cash; the Kansas CCIM Chapter will not reimburse individuals without meeting all the criteria listed herein. Recipient Notification Notification will be sent to all applicants. Scholarship recipients are requested to attend the Kansas CCIM Chapter Year End Program (registration fee for the Year End Program are waived for Scholarship recipients) and will be announced and presented with a certificate. List of Class Courses The scholarship recipient is responsible for course registration fees, transportation lodging and other costs. The list of classes can be found by going to the CCIM Institute website at www.ccim.com and clicking on “Upcoming Courses”. Course postings are subject to change and we encourage early registration.
