Hardy makes senior appointment to its property treaty business
Hardy Underwriting today announced the appointment of Lloyd Tunnicliffe as its new property treaty business unit manager.
Lloyd joins Hardy from Kiln where he was Active Underwriter for the TMK Syndicate 1880, an intragroup platform for the Tokio and Kiln reinsurance business.
He was also previously Active
Underwriter for Kiln’s Syndicate 807.
Before joining Kiln, Lloyd was Active Underwriter for Advent and was instrumental in leading the development of Syndicate 780. Previously, he spent nine years at CNA Re where he established the North American Plan Unit as a credible lead market.
Commenting on Lloyd’s appointment, Patrick Gage, DoU, said: “We are delighted that Lloyd has joined Hardy. His experience and expert knowledge in the property treaty market will provide strong underwriting leadership and significantly enhance our ability to build this business. Lloyd joins Hardy at an important time as we focus our growth strategy on key market sectors”
