22nd October 2015 Year 11 - Mock Examinations 2015 Dear Parents/ Carers, I am writing to inform you of the arrangements for the Year 11 mock examinations this year: The mock examinations will run from Monday 23rd November until Friday 4th December 2015. All students will return to normal timetable on Monday 7th December 2015. We ask for your support in ensuring that your child completes revision at home and comes equipped with everything they need to complete the exams. Due to government regulations students are no longer permitted study leave so will attend school as usual and attend normal timetabled lessons when they are not sitting an exam. Students will be expected to attend all of the mock examinations for their GCSE courses. A timetable is provided for your information, and students will also have an individual timetable. Exams in the morning sessions commence at 9.10am and 11.10am and afternoon examinations will commence at 13.10pm. Students should assemble outside the examination rooms 15 minutes before the start time. If they are absent due to illness, the school must be informed before 9.00am. Individual timetables will be issued to students in the week commencing 2nd November 2015.
