The billiards feature of 2Touch POS enables you to track the time based use of billiards tables.
Capabilities:
Ability to charge $m for the first xx minutes with $n dollars per xx minutes thereafter. These are prepaid blocks of time. Choose the granularity appropriately. Ability to change the rates based on day and time. Ability to charge per player and track adding and removing players. Ability to stop charging for table time and keep the table assigned.
Setup Steps: 1. 2. 3. 4.
Purchase the Table Management Module. Create a $0 menu item – perhaps called ‘Billiards’. Make the ‘Billiards’ menu item accessible from the speed screen. In table management. a) Create and mark a section as a billiards section. b) Select ‘Prompt For Count’ in the Seating Options. c) Add tables and arrange as you would any table management section. 5. Assign default rates and select the ‘Billiards’ menu item.
Operational Steps: Starting a Table 1. Create a new check in table management view of a billiards section. 2. You will be prompted for the number of players. A ‘Billiards’ item and timer will be added to the check for each player. 3. Send the check to start the timers Adding a Player 1. Open the check from table management. 2. In Order Options, choose players then add player. This will add a new ‘Billiards’ item to the check and start a new timer. Stopping a Table and Closing the Check 1. In table management, select the table and select Payment. This will update the price based on the timers. Stopping the Timers – But Not Closing the Check 1. In table management, select the table and choose order options. 2. Stop the timer for the entire table or per player. If you stop the timers for the entire table, transfer the check to a tab so the table is free again. Reports: 1. Miscellaneous->Billiards Summary By Table. This report shows how many minutes are charged to which tables.

Hourly Rates per Table Setup Example Example rates are: Monday-Thursday $7.50 per table/ per hour Friday- Sunday $8.50 per hour Keep in mind, these are pool halls that serve alcohol and can expect to have their business day end around 2am the next day. Setup a menu item for $0
Go Into Table Management -> Sections. These are your Settings to charge per hour.

The Rates are applied in the Advanced Button. Notice Monday and Friday’s Time and rate difference to accommodate for the business day’s ending the next day in the early am hours.

To Stop the Timer: Highlight the appropriate table, Options, In this case you would press Stop All Players since the single player is really the timer for the whole table.

You can manually add or subtract blocks of Time. (These rates currently come from The Additional Charge Field in the Sections Button. Not in the advanced section where the different time of day rates are calculated.)

While The Check is opened, Press Order Options and then add or subtract time increments. This Billiards Module was designed to Rates x players hours, NOT rate x table hours. There will be some lost functionality.
