IMPORTANT NOTICE The Government Printing Works will not be held responsible for faxed documents not received due to errors on the fax machine or faxes received which are unclear or incomplete. Please be advised that an “OK” slip, received from a fax machine, will not be accepted as proof that documents were received by the GPW for printing. If documents are faxed to the GPW it will be the sender’s responsibility to phone and confirm that the documents were received in good order. Furthermore the Government Printing Works will also not be held responsible for cancellations and amendments which have not been done on original documents received from clients.

INDEPENDENT COMMUNICATIONS AUTHORITY OF SOUTH AFRICA
EXTENSION OF THE CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSIONS OF COMMENTS REGARDING THE DRAFT LABELLING REGULATIONS 1.
The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa ("the Authority") hereby, gives notice of the extension regarding the closing date for submission of comments on the draft labelling regulations published in Government Gazette No. 36045 (Notice No. 1067) dated 28' December 2012.

The closing date for the submission of written representations by interested persons on the Draft Labelling regulations is hereby extended from Friday, 15 February 2013 to no later than 16h00 on Friday, 22 February 2013.

All written representations submitted to the Authority pursuant to this notice shall be made available for inspection by interested persons from the 25th of February 2013 at the ICASA Library and website. Copies of the representations from the library will be obtainable on the payment of a fee.

Where persons making representations require that their representation or part thereof be treated as confidential, then an application in terms of section 4D of the ICASA Act, 2000 (Act No. 13 of 2000) must be lodged with the Authority. Such an application must be submitted simultaneously with the representation on the draft plan. All confidential
material must be pasted onto a separate annexure which is clearly marked "Confidential". If, however, the request for confidentiality is not accepted by the Authority, the person making the request will be allowed to withdraw the representation or document in question.
