3rd Annual Strike Out Cancer Hosted by Gardendale Youth Baseball

In 2014, Gardendale Youth Baseball chose to do a pre-season baseball exhibition as a fundraiser for the North Jefferson Relay For Life and The American Cancer Society in honor of one of our amazing baseball moms, Christine Moore. Our first Strike Out Cancer raised $8,000! Our goals were set higher for year two and with the support of our community and several communities in North Jefferson County we exceeded expectations and raised $11,500! Through baseball we have raised $19,500 for cancer research! Now in our third year of fundraising, we would like to invite you to join in our efforts and help make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. Gardendale Youth Baseball, North Jefferson Relay For Life, and The American Cancer Society would like to thank all the teams, players, and families for coming out and supporting our mission to fund cancer research. While Strike Out Cancer is a fun day of baseball, the kids experience how selfless servitude can impact others.
