’Learning Together in a Changing World’ Well Done Holly! One of our Year 6 pupils, Holly Watson, had her hair cut last week to donate to the Little Princess Trust. This charity provides real hair wigs to boys and girls across the UK who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment. Holly very bravely had 13 inches cut off her hair. If you would like to sponsor Holly you can donate via Just Giving at www.justgiving.com/Holly-Watson10 Alternatively you can send donations into the school office. Thank you.
Year 1 Trip Year 1 visited the museum in Downpatrick. The children had a great time looking at, and playing with toys from the past. Pupils from Year 1 dressed up in clothes children would have worn in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Everyone really enjoyed the trip as they were interested to find out about toys from the past.

Thinking Wall Question Of the Month
Emotionally Intelligent School Honesty
The question for this month is:
If you could be a book character for the day. Who would you be and why? If you would like to suggest a solution please feel free to write it on a post-it and send it in with your child.
Honesty is all about having the courage to do the right thing and doing what you said you would do. Learn to keep a promise. Tell the truth, don’t lie, cheat or steal. Learn to admit your mistakes, don’t blame others or make excuses. Being honest can help build trust between friends!
Parents Invitation Term 2 assembly dates are as follows:
Friday 11 March - 9.00am - Y4 - “Honesty”
The assembly lasts approximately 20 minutes. Tea/coffee is served in the staffroom from 8.50 - 9.00am. We hope you will be able to come and see your child’s class assembly.
