6’ Barn Door T rack Kit 2. Using the track and a level, mark the location of the mounting holes (figure 1. If the mounting holes do not line up with wall studs, add 2x6 blocking (A) for unfinished walls, or head casing (B) for finished walls (maximum door weight for head casing mounted track is 95 pounds). 3. Pre-drill holes for mounting hardware using a 7/32” drill bit 2” deep.
4. Securely attach track using the supplied standoffs and bolts. Depending on the desired location of the end stops, it may be necessary to slide the end stops on before attaching the track.
6’ Barn Door T rack Kit 5. Position the roller assembly in the desired location on the door. The centerline of the top mounting hole will be 1 9/16” from the top edge of the door. Mark the location of the roller mounting holes and pre-drill 25/64” through the door.
6. Choose the proper size bolt for your door thickness and attach roller assembly.
7. Attach the anti-jump stops to the top of the door.
6’ Barn Door T rack Kit 8. Carefully lift the door into place and hang off the track. Twist the anti-jump stops so that they will prevent the door from being lifted off the track.
9. Mount the T-guides to the floor in order to prevent the door from swinging at the bottom. There are two ways to install the floor guide, see below option A and option B.
6’ Barn Door T rack Kit 10. Slide the door closed, adjusting the stop to the desired location and tighten. Slide the door fully open and do the same to the other stop.
11. Push the decorative rivets into the holes on track ends.
